Manly Semi is a two storey addition and alterations project that restored the front three rooms and beyond created new living spaces on ground and two more bedrooms upstairs with ensuites. The tight site and proximity of 6 neighbouring dwellings resulted in a compact plan, twisted roof form, considered screening and window placement combined with a welcoming sense that the home is inward looking centred on the skylight void through the middle and the varied and warm palette of materials and carefully detailed joinery.
