Mosman Sports Hall, 2008, Mosman, NSW.

The brief is to design a new sports hall for various court sports with ancillary spaces. The proposal is sited to connect to the existing sports fields and landscape adjacent. The proposed scale of the building is manipulated to preserve views from Rawson oval and maintain existing sightlines on the site. Working within the masterplan envelope there is an opportunity to welcome visitors at the upper level and great opportunities to open the sports hall to the site and spectacular harbour views on the lower entry level. The facility is designed to be embedded on the north and east side and open to the adjacent outdoor courts, harbour views and the surrounding landscape.
